A Retail Customer Relations Associate accepts, solicits, and processes new sales of all lines of business, including but not limited to, telephone, cable television, broadband, wireless, and all ancillary products and services associated with the business lines. They connect with members via face-to-face interactions, phone calls, and or emails/online chat to respond to customer’s requests, placement of orders, selling services, customer inquiries, and customer complaints.

Our GIS team is responsible for GIS data input and maintenance of the GIS database as well as implementation of GIS solutions for various challenges presented within the company as a whole. They focus on verification of both proposed and as-built projects in the GIS database as required by the HTC GIS standards. You will have the opportunity to utilize GIS tools and analytical skills to collect and identify data relationships and dependencies of outside plant facilities alongside other related data.   This position may have varied levels of responsibilities and pay opportunities. Our Construction workers interpret routine service orders and engineering work orders which diagram how cable is to be laid in trenches, plowed, or erected on pole lines.  They assist in the placing of cable within the underground conduit system, placement of direct buried cable using plow, digging, trenching and boring equipment, restoring all disturbed surfaces, such as concrete and bituminous pavement, trims trees and perform other landscaping duties as necessary.    This position may have varied levels of responsibilities and pay opportunities. Based on applicant’s qualifications and departmental needs, the position may be filled in either a part-time or full-time status.

The HTC state-of-the-art network is powered by nearly 8,000 miles of fiber and coaxial cable, providing digital and streaming video, internet, and other telecommunication services to homes and businesses across three counties and beyond.   As an HTC Programmer, you’ll work within our Information Services (IS) Department, serving the needs of… - Gathering specific information regarding program intent, functions, data requirements, and system environment - Designing and writing program specifications based on specific consultations with management, system analysts, and team members  - Converting designs and specifications into computer code while constructing and coding layouts for onscreen user interfaces - Creating and performing test transactions to find errors in code and revising programs based on thorough analysis - Maintaining programs and ensuring end users are properly trained - Ensuring that all programs are properly maintained to reflect changes in the Cooperative’s policy, procedures, tariff and equipment.  - Maintaining confidentiality in regards to all programs, data, data files, program specifications and all related information.  - Guarantee program materials are properly safeguarded against loss or theft.  - Recognizing changes that may improve existing programs or procedures; advises the supervisor of same. That means working with creative negotiation and sales techniques in a fast-paced environment.   What is on the line? Under general supervision, a Customer Relations Associate in our Call Center accepts, solicits, and processes new sales of all lines of business, including but not limited to, Internet, HTC TV Max, Video, Security, Mobile, Voice and all ancillary products and services associated with the business lines.   Our Customer Relations Associates begin with an hourly base pay of $17.18 along with quarterly bonus opportunities that adds an additional $2-$3 per hour on average. Associates are gifted one week of PTO on their first day along with many other lucrative benefits.    Hours of Operation of the Contact Center are Monday-Friday 8am-8pm and Saturday 8am-6pm. Schedule of the employee may vary on occasion and is based upon a 40 hour work week.

HTC Systems Administrators are responsible for planning, installing, configuring, and supporting server software and hardware. You will be responsible for ensuring HTC’s servers are highly available, stable, and redundant. You must be able to clearly create documentation and communicate with others. You must have previous experience administering Windows systems in an enterprise environment. Experience with application and desktop virtualization is a plus. You will work with many different technologies and will need to have a desire to learn new solutions.   Our Systems Administrator pay starts at $69,630. With your talent, you’ll have every resource at your fingertips to protect what’s important to our members.   What’s in your future as a Network Engineer?  Network Engineers are responsible for engineering, designing, planning, and evaluating data and voice network requirements including new equipment selection, requirement specifications, requirement gathering, system integration, design selection, alternative recommendations, cost, acceptance testing, scheduling, and support. In this role, you will actively participate in projects, cross functional areas, and support other departments.  Network Engineers are also responsible for the following: - Understanding networking systems such as LAN, WAN, firewalls, routers, and printers. - Analyzing and evaluating networks, identifying issues, and providing solutions to ensure networks are operating efficiently. - Designing, implementing, and troubleshooting networks and security infrastructure. - Managing several projects simultaneously from a design to implementation. - Communicating technical information to other technical team members and coworkers in other departments who may not have knowledge of networking terminology.   Certifications/Licensures:  Must have a valid state driver’s license. Network Engineers may also be required to obtain additional certifications. Certifications that may be valuable to Network Engineers include but are not limited to: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). This position may have varied levels of responsibilities and pay opportunities. The payment services team also coordinates auto draft payment arrangements in effort to maximize company revenues. While maintaining and documenting call and payment logs for management review, you would also be available to answer the customer service line during peak periods and to communicate any claims issues to the Customer Service team.
